Licensure Requirements Disclosure


Americare has researched state licensure requirements and confirmed that the Licensed Practical Nursing Program meets the educational requirements for licensure in Illinois once successfully completed. 


However, we have not made a determination if Americare’s Licensed Practical Nursing program curriculum meets the educational requirements for licensure in these states and U.S. Territories: 


Alabama, Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Northern Mariana Islands, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Utah, Vermont, Virgina, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming


If you plan to practice outside Illinois, you should independently verify with the appropriate licensing agency whether Americare’s program satisfies the educational requirements for licensure in that state. Be aware that licensure requirements may change over time and may include additional requirements beyond education.
